INTERNATIONAL MEETING ON SOLIDARITY, FRIENDSHIP AND COOPERATION VITH VIETNAM

First of all I would like to express my thanks on behalf of the Spain Vietnam Friendship Association in Galicia Autonomy and on my own to the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organization and to his President Mr. Vu Xuan Hong for your kind invitation to participate in this Meeting.

It is a great honour for my to come to the heroic Country that has been an example for the working class and the people around the World in its struggle against the French Colonial rule and the Imperialism USA.

Celebrating the sixtieth anniversary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam has been a source of all the Spanish and Galician people who participate in our youth demonstrations supporting the struggle and their tiumph. Also was an example during the struggle against the Franco’s Regime and helping us in the way to freedom and democracy. By the time there was an Organization of Solidarity UNION DE GALICIA-VIETNAM (1.968).

The Socialist Republic of Vietnam still is today an example of developement economy, fighting against poverty, solidarity and peace.

The Galicia-Vietnam Friendship Association was setting up on 7th. May 2004 to commemorate the victory of Dien-Bien-Phu and we try to do cooperation between our people.
Finally, we proclame our work for peace and solidarity and against the war and the capitalism.
